Evrybody who knows anything about dogs has alreday stated the obvious.

Your girl is beautifull, and i do not see any mastiff trait in her. ( she is proably crossbred with something, but with something that made her stand in the genre )

Mixing that girl with an Akita is absolutely pointless, and most probably will lead to some lousy looking pups ( you are mixing apples and oranges in terms of morphology and characteristics )..

Keep her within standard as much as possible. Go for beautifull dogs, with physical harmony and balanced heads, and forget the "badass" aspect of it.

That is what is destroying our type of dogs.

+1. Or just be responsible and get her fixed. There is no good reason to breed mut dogs. There are already billions of "unwanted" dogs waiting to be adopted. She is a beaut, but the last thing we need is to breed more muts. Do the right thing.

i hear u guys, maybe ill find a nice male pit to breed her wit

Irreasponsable breeding, no wonder pits get a bad rap.

people can give a dog watever rep they want. not my fault or care. people who meet MY dog say "omg shes so friendly u wudda never thought" then i explain what the pitbull terrier is all about. thats all i cud do for the breed. and i WILL do what I WANT. rep dont meen nuthin. people are gonna go by personal experience.

u think when people lived in england when they wer just crossing all sorts of dogs to get good breeds u think people wer walking around pointing fingers saying "irresponsible breeder! omg look at him" no they wer minding thier bussiness and not pointing the finger at people like ME who doveloped these breeds we so highly value today (such as the pitbull/staffy). U KNOW NUTHING. what if i cross these two breeds and get an AWSOME MALE and eventually breed that male and come up with an amazing breed with a purpose. then the people who fancy that new breed may just appreciate the action you just deemed irresponsible. my dogs are trained guy come check em out if youd if youd like ill show you what a REAL trained dog is like, maybe youd learn a thing or two bderick67

Reputation means everything when it comes to dogs (pits to be exact). You think the banned on all pits and pit mixes in Colorado (Denver) had to do from a first account experience from the people that signed and promoted the bill in the first place?.....No, they got banned for there REPUTATION.
