Which one is your favourite (disregarding price) and why? Which on do you think looks better?

reef, there are colors you can't even think of or describe. Tons of color, next would be FOWLR (if done right close second) there you can get big aggressive fish.

Why can't you just get big aggressive fish in a reef tank?

Big aggressive fish are not reef safe. Meaning that they will nip and pick at corals and either kill or stress them out. You also don't want big fish in a reef setup because they will nock your corals over onto the sand, which can kill them.
