Baby tyre track

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think 24" is a understatement IMHO. although your correct that 24" is accepted as their normal aquarium size, on average I see them closer to 27-28" and some times 30+" My huge one belonged to my brother who had him a long time and his home was a 850 litre tank ;D

Well, it depends on the tank and keeper. But generally I think we can agree that both armatus and Favus max out at about(!) 30" :)
I'm in a similar age to you and also obsessed with spiny eels.. We have lots in common :D

we do indeed my friend :D SPINY EELS RULE !!!! oh and OP, make sure you keep updating.

Hate to be the bearer of.. odd news.. but thats not a tire track... that is neither and Armatus or Favrus... that is a M. Dayii.. or Black spotted leopard eel.. as they get older those broken lines will get replaced with spots... idk how big they get but atm i have one 20" that looks just like that when she was younger.

thats why I said to be sure you'll have to wait till shes/hes larger.. lol
