small Cichlid ideas for a 56 gallon tank

Yea I was that way too as long as you have good filtration, and keep up on water changes it should be no problem.

i should b good on filtration. the filter i have is rated to 150 gallons. so i am running "3 times" the filter that is "needed"
 
Yeah mbuna are the way to go. They are not boring----boring is a large agressive fish that claims the whole tank or some expensive pleco that you never see because it is hiding. Mbuna move around have great almost saltwater cover and you can get many more in a tank than the bruisers.
 
i will deffinately get some pics up. the second part of this thread is help decorating it lol. i have a few things in there so they dont get stressed but i need a little help with the final design.

those are actually kribensis chichlids or Pelvicachromis pulcher. i know the fish you are talking about and yes they do look very similar. i was accually looking into getting some of them but the water parameters for them is different than the cichlids. i have a video coming for them were you can see them much better. be sure to check it out!
