elec blue jack dempsey VS elec blue ahli

in general area cause it has to do with both lol, so which do you prefer? i dont see the need for a ebjd, as i already have an ahli IMO, waay better coloring then a ebjd!

Completely different fish. The EBJD will actually have a personality. I say the Dempsey 100%

Ebjd for sure they get bigger and beefier plus they have much more of a mean look to them I'm not much of a Cichlid guy but if I had to keep one itd be the Dempsey

I kept both species in the past and I would choose EBJD over ahli at any time....the ahli has zero personalities just like other african cichlids.

ahli get about 8 to 10 inches, EBJD get about 6 to 8 inches lol
