+1 on the pima. Now that he is doing round two for some of them, why hasn't he had a dedicated Hydrolycus episode yet?? I understand they have to have stories to them, but I'd think vampire fish would have some stories to go along with those nasty teeth

He's caught a few vampire tetras but they are not as aggressive towards or likely to attack humans as piranha or big cats might . Plus the fast flowing white water rapids they inhabit are a place no human would be able to swim in at leisure.

He's going Tarpon fishing in Nica. I emailed him asking him why he hasn't showcased tarpon, as I could show anyone a freshwater lake in near a certain space station in Florida where these beast have been trapped and have grown up to 6 feet in length. I also mentioned their evolutionary closeness to pima. He actually replyed saying he is catching tarpon. Then he said he was catching fish in nica, and they catch freshwater tarpon in nica all the time as they have a world class tarpon fishery there.

He's gonna catch lampreys in the northeast, and probably some big stripped bass or salmons while he is up there. He is going to catch wels cats in the chernobyl cooling ponds, as the beast have gotten up to 14 feet due to lack of human fishing for them. While he is there I am sure he will catch some salmon or fish lake bikal. He will also visit lake lochness for the season finale. Don't know what kind of fish he plans on catching there.

I don't think he will ever showcase Golden Dorado. They are increasingly rare, and it would be hard to catch a monster sized one.

He ought to try to catch an asian paddlefish. Those things are rare af though, but they are true monsters.

I don't think he actually fished the sultan sea, but they do have a couple species of drum that gets pretty big, and sharks.
