Want to know how big these guys really get. looking for comments from other keepers. I have 5 who are about 3-4" long. Some sites say 4" some say 6" and some even say 8". Any comments? Here is a pic of my little school. Also what is typical growth rate for them?100_1120.JPG

Rather then starting a new thread, I will hijack this antique. I have 8 of these and want to know how big they will get. Google has been no help.
Thanks

My research found that they typically top out around 5".
Metynnis species usually range from 4-6 inches (SL) while Myleus and Mylossoma get larger in the 8-10 inch (SL) range some even larger.

I know this is not the m. hypsauchen. But I do have two of them at this size.
