I actually picked up my Sal along with a female from Freshwaterpredators two or three months ago. He was about 5 inches when I got him so he has grown about an inch or so since then.
He is a pretty brutal little bastard though, he killed the female that came with him less then a week after I brought them home. He has terrorized the two female convicts that have been kept with them
(I know for a fact both are female, seen both lay eggs) when I thought he would have tried to pair with one. He has always left my Oscar alone, and Hogger isnt very aggressive so they get along
just fine. When I threw Dozer (male Midas) into the mix though he tried to dominate the Midas and had his world turned upside down on him lol. Ever since then he hasnt been quite as bright as when he
thought he ran the tank. He still likes to chase the Convicts but Dozer usually jumps right in and breaks it up. While Hogger is King Ding Dong, its Dozer that usually breaks up fights it seems like. Hogger (The Oscar) keeps to himself and as long as no one messes with him hes fine, but as soon as some one gets in his face usually ends with him chasing them (usually Dozer lol) all over the tank.
