I think it depends most on where you are stranded.

An amzonian indian has no survival problems in the junle, nor a touarge in the desret neither an eskimo in the pole :)

To be fair, for a vast majority anything not urban is different. Those people who think roughing it means no room service.

How is this thread still alive... Of course humans would survive. There are humans which to this date do not even know what civilisation means, let alone take part in it!
