Banjar red with my planned stock?

Hi, I'm just researching fish I like to find out what I can keep and what I can't.

Would a banjar red arowana work in this setup.

The tank will be a 500g with the chance to upgrade if needed in the future, it will have very good sump filtration and high flow caused by power heads and return pump.

Current stock is

2x p.bass
Clown knife
Giraff catfish

Planned additions

African tiger fish (goliath or vittatus)
Hopefully an arowana?
And some type of catfish in the future when everything else has grown.

Main questions are-

Will it like this setup?

Aggression level?

Best achievable size of a captive banjar red?

Aftrican tiger likes to to target red, silver and yellow fish. Your banjar is silvery pink so there might be aggression.

Ok thanks, I have seen people keeping them with silvers on YouTube so do you think it might work if the aro is a bit bigger? Or just a no no in your opinion?

It's a hit and miss. If you get an ATF bigger than the aro, the ATF might bully the aro. If you get them at the same size, the aro will outgrow the ATF and it might eat it.

Ya the combo can work but it's at a risk.
