Aquaclear filter overflowed?

Shoot last night my ac110 overflow. 5-10 gal on the floor. Sucks. Does anybody recommend using filter floss instead

if you use floss keep a close eye on the filter ... most people run sponge w / bio or double sponge... you probably just need to rinse the media you have

Make sure its level or even sloped toward the tank. This way even if media gets clogged it wont overflow

the key is slopped toward tank i put a spacer inbetween tank and filter it will never overflow this way dirty media or not

good point this is 100% true

how would a hob power filter spill from the tank when water would just spill out of the large overflow? the only thing i can think of is the overflow being blocked.

I had stuffed a extra inch of polyfill on top the sponge and other stuff. It fluffed the more it got wet thus causing the overflow. Its running fine now. thank you all
