Hello everyone, I saw a wolf fish today that I was thinking about getting. It was a Hoplias Malabarcius and was $20. I wanted to check up on compatibility before I bought it. My tank currently has 2 Oscars, a Jade Sleeper Goby, a Senegal Polyepterus, and a Lima Shovel nose Catfish. Will the wolf fish be compatible? I am not too worried about anything picking on the wolf fish, but I am worried about the wolf fish killing one of the current fish. There are also 2 ID sharks in there that I will be getting rid of soon, so will they be an issue if kept with the wolf for a short period of time? All of the current fish are similar sized or larger than the wolf.

malas are aggressive with slow moving bottom dwelling fish. your goby, bichir and catfish will be jeopardy in getty beaten up.

My bichir was the fish I was most concerned about when I decided to start this thread. You really think the Goby would be at risk? He is pretty active and moves quick.
