well, this guy finally became to aggressive to be part of a community....so I have set him up a tank all to himself, he is around 8-9in....I have not decided yet what to use as substrate (most likely fine gravel) and need to add a bit more decor....but anyway this is his new "castle" :D

Great!!! A glass banging monster in the making!

Thanks, will get an updated video tonight....he now has black sand/fine gravel in there and a plant that he keeps moving about lol....he is still a bit shy in there, but must feel pretty exposed being in a large tank on his own....but he is becoming his old confident self a little more every day :).....I will also put one of my plecos in there tonight, help keep on top of the algae etc.

What i like in yours, particularly, is the intensity of the whites/ yellows.. Far more than mine.

ahh, well now he is solo Miguel....he has gone like my old one was, an all over darkish black blue....with very faint bars, I used to find the best way to make my old one colour up was to put a mirror up to the end of his tank, or when he was fighting me he would also fire up to the bright white stripes.....I actually do love the dark velvety black colour with the blue powdered effect all over as much as when they are showing their contrasting bright stripes :)

Vid does not work
