Wake up with spiders or centipedes? I spent ever summer in Victorville CA (mojave desert) and had a scorpion in ever bathtub every morning. Got bit by a vinegaroon as a kid. SUUUUCKED...

there's so many creepy crawling dangers in mojave, hard to list them all.
4-5 yrs old, I used to play on a propane tank. they found a sidewinder was coming & going from under it

Did they kill it?

a man was sent to collect it, for milking to make anti-venom. especially since after I saw the snake & additional siting was confirmed by mom & gramma, all I did was check reeelly good before climbing back on & off the tank every day.
it was my pretend horse. I had no toys.

Why would they kill it? That is never the solution.

And, sidewinders are beautifull, as all crotalids.....
