since joining this site last July this site has cost me thousands of dollars lol. this site is kind of a white elephant gift its free up front but will cost you tons in the end but i have to say being here has driven my addiction farther than i have ever though it would. and for that i thank everyone.
so who else has had this problem?

YUUUUUP! browsing this forum = ideas and plans resulting in spending more money. On the bright side, it motivates me to keep my tanks nice and clean when i get lazy haha.

i dont complain...i just enjoy, its funny cause my parents, dont say anything when i buy new tanks (i havent in a while though) they just say " enjoy it while you can cause some day you'll have kids and wont have any money to spend on yourself....."

i just tell them it keeps me out of the bars
haha i thats good i guess, theres so much liquor in my house i can open up 2 bars and still have a lot left

personally,I have begun spending massive amounts on new toys for aquariums in the past few years.thanks to MFK...and I like it:)

I have been into more expensive hobbys then fish keeping for example breeding dogs(I bred pitbulls for years)... Then one day I decide I want a nice fish tank for the livingroom so I go on craigslist and buy a 55gallon tank and buy some SA Cichlids.. I also browse the net for aquarium forums to join to get info on the fish I wanted to keep... Long story short, almost two years later I have a few large tanks ranging from 150g to 300g with black aro ,stingrays ,gar, silver dollars, clown loaches, and Im now trying to get my marble motoros to breed so I can use the money off the pups to support my habit, I mean hobby!!! LoL.... Ive easily spent thousands of dollars on this hobby, because we all know high quality stingrays and the equipment that it takes to support them is not cheap!!!
