Good Price For Flowerhorn?

I have a friend with an 100 gallon tank that's currently empty. He saw this fish on Craigslist and wanted me to find out from you MFKers how nice is it and is it worth the price. I think that flower is beautiful and it is a really good price and yes in a 100 gallon you are not going to be able to put another fish in it but I have a 600 gallon I think he will be good in there lol nice flower though

I say no look like srd or kml 4 tht price u can get something way better Not bad fh but I pass on $160 , at tht sizes kok should b bigger

yeah its a red dragon pretty common fh imo. I would see if you can talk them down. but heck your in cali there are tons of cool flowerhorn there you can find one cheaper for sure. and I recommend getting one smaller its cool watching them grow and develop into a monster fish

So I talked to the guy selling it and I'm going to see it on Friday but I need some advice because this will be my first flowerhorn. If I was to buy it, I was going to offer maybe $140. Could someone tell me some reasons why I shouldn't buy it or why I should? I need help and don't want to get screwed. He said it was very aggressive so he will be by himself in a 55 gallon. All comments and advice are welcome, Ed.

If you like it you should get it. In my opinion though, I think you can get a better quality fh for $140. Good luck though with whatever decision you make.

It has cool pearls , kok (is alil weak ) body is very round , n to me his fins make him look old
