All you guys are right. The possibility of really knowing ( in our lifetime ) are zilch.

To get in touch, generations away, if at all.

Yet there is a Formula ( do not jonow the name, but is connected to Seti founder ) that gives us around 10.000 possible lifef sustaining planets out there. That is, in the confines, of space, a diminute quantity.

Yes, i believe there are others out there, similar to us, or completely different.

And i believe they just might have been here and then, as all technological proficient " people" extinguished themselves ( as will we in due course ).

What i absolutely do not believe ( and there is no science here, at least from my standpoint ) is that this small speck of sand in the most large of imaginable beaches, is the sole place where life exists.

I think its a very narcissistic mindset to think we are the only intelligent life in the universe. I believe there is life somewhere out there, whether or not we have ever interacted with said life that remains to be seen.

I would hope and fear that more life exists out there. If there is life, it would be fascinating, yet scary if they could visit us as it might not end well. However if there isnt some form of life out there besides us it seems like an awful waste of space

I give up, what does it tell us? The Egyptions couldn't build the Seattle Space Needle doesn't mean the pyramids were built by space men just means the Egyptions had more time on their hands and thousands of workers that spent years on tweaking it to get it right.
