Reminds me of a platinum HRP, but with the convict bars. Can't say I've seen anything quite like it before ... it will be interesting to see if the bars fade with time or not.
Sadly a lot of people have been crossing HRP's with convicts to try and get marbled hrp's and platinum convicts ... a small possibility that your parents were part of someone's attempt at that. Not likely, but a possibility. Will be interesting to see what it does as it grows.
thats an awesome con never saw one like that before
I've never seen platinum HRP babies in person, since that morph doesn't do much for me. I'd be curious if someone that has bred them successfully before can pipe up if the young have bars that fade into adulthood or not.
If the fish really is white as what is shown in the pics then that fish is indeed uncommon. But white stripes on pink cons is a very common occurance. With the inbreeding of cons going on I wouldnt be surprised if your fish has some leucistic hrp blood in them.

Ok. I wasn't even aware of white stripes being common... We learn something new everyday! Well thanks all because I got my answer. I will probably make another thread to show its progress and what I chose to breed it with.
Please do. Where are you located btw? I'm interested in some marbled fry cause I do breed marbled cons as well and I wanna strengthen my line.
