Alright so my convicts first breed like two months ago. And I didn't move the babies so most of them fell into the gravel and "died", but I have a clear bottom tank and I looked under the tank for some reason and saw convicts!. They were under the unndergravel filter and survived off the mulch and the light coming from the tank under them. I just removed the grates to allow them out and now I have about ten two month old convicts, with 4 adult convicts, and 40 1 week baby convicts

They live through anything, once I put a tank of two of them outside and forgot about it with no heater or food for 2 weeks, the temperature dropped to 50 at night and they still survived
Tank probably got algae and they lived off of that.
