Yes it is outside. I am more than likely going to use it for convicts for breeding as feeders.

So I threw in a bunch of convicts, 2 small silver dollars, 3 juvie bichirs, and 2 tin foil barbs. I will hopefully get some breeding going on so I can have a supply for my P-Bass. So far the temps been up to 80+ with the heater plus it has been a lil warm lately out here.(Sunny Cali) Hopefully during the winter it will not dip too low. We will see.
