I have some Argentine swords in my 125 gallon that I planted about a month ago. They look great and seem to be doing really well as they have turned a darker green since I purchased them while they were light, almost yellowish, green. Being curious, I looked under my tank with a flashlight to see if I could spot any roots growing wildly. The are several roots showing at the bottom of the tank on the glass and they look like they are white surrounded by brown streaks. Is this normal? I was under the assumption that the roots would be mostly white.
