Here's Clarkson (yes, a Top Gear reference, since these are jaaaaaags). She's about 9.5 inches long in the first pic, and thick thick thick! All the others were when she was in the growout tank. She's a showgirl. :) Strill trying to figure out how to photograph the teal sheen in her fins and the nice pinky iridescence on her bod.

sweet lord those teeth make a dovii's teeth look like nothing.. That's one mean looking managuense. How is it with aggression and do you know where it was caught?

Glad to see Clarkson again! I'm glad to see her progression, I was all over your "Clarkson the JAAAAG" thread lol. If I remember correctly, I think I helped you find out the sex lol. I know I made a labeled pic of someones managuense a while back showing everything that made me think it was female lol. How's she doing with laying eggs (if she is) and stuff with those pbass? (which are also beauties)

Heyya, Mike.

Yep, that's her! I think she finally got over the whole egg thing. That hasn't stopped her from putting the moves on the gold severum, jack dempsey, OR Mayan now that she's been moved to the 300 gallon. I wound up selling off the batch of pbass that she was raised with, but they were a really good combo, since the pbass move real fast. :)

Manila, Philippines, Dont know where it was exactly captured, but Jaguar has been a problem in several Tilapia fish ponds and lakes in several areas.

Its was aggressive to the 12 inch cichla and any silver Dollars that it goes near it, I had to give the cichla away for its own safety. Its actually a bit shy at times except when feeding, Hopefully it gets used to "Tank life". I was hoping to keep the cichla, being a fast swimmer, but I guess the 105 tank was too small for it to escape.

Next time I buy supplies, I would take a video of the concrete tank, where it is displayed, there was about 100 of them ranging from 4 inches to 10 inches

What size tanks do you keep your jags in?

I am growing mine out in a 5ft tank but was going to upgrade to a 6ft if i can get a pair. Would a 6ft tank be ok for a pair of jags?

Ill update when I get my 16" male and 12" female tonight!
