Just bloodworms and mysis shrimp right now. I've tried massivore but they don't even try to look for it. Will the advice you gave me earlier work for the babies too? I'm just worried cuz they're so small that going without food might harm them. I've been meaning to try tilapia with them but I've been too lazy to chop the filets so small. These guys are only like 1-1/2" except the Senegal. He's been growing pretty fast and is close to 3" right now

Sorry late reply, today is wc day for all the tanks.

It will work for the babies, but youre right about not going as long without food. If they dont take it after a day or two of no food, stick to what they like.

Tilapia has a lot more nutrition than blood worms and mysis. It will fill their gut more and theyll grow faster. Worth the tediousness of chopping finely.

Blood worms spoil them. I never use them.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely try everything you said. They're pretty cute as babies but I definitely want them to get HUGE!

Are you gonna pick up more when you go back for the payaras?

Just thought I'd update on this guy. He's been chilling in the driftwood a lot so he's darkened up a lot. Been eating like a pig every night also so I think he'll fatten up pretty fast. Here's a few pics from yesterday.

Looks great so far and its only going to get better.
