Rome is awesome. I loved it. Gratuitous violence, sexual content and nudity set in a historically accurate period piece = Good viewing. At least in my book

I just get the feeling they are building towards something big, since last few episodes have been so slow.

Yeah, even through I haven't read the books ... I think I know what they will end the season with. When I was looking up the ages of the characters earlier, I accidently saw something I didn't want to in the timeline. Sigh. Oh well.
Several somethings are coming. I expect one of each to happen over the next two episodes, one thing in the next that will be shocking and then a bigger, more shocking, more pleasing thing for the finale.
For the next episode, lets just say don't take the bread and salt. If not the next one, the finale definitely.
Well I'm glad I found that out now. I would would have been... displeased to sit down with my freshly grilled steak, a Dr. Pepper and turn on HBO to see Liberace doing his thing instead of GoT.
