I feel very bad for theon actually. dude was dealt with a losing hand his whole life. he was given away as a boy, not his fault. felt like an outsider in winterfell, goes back home and doesn't get the greeting he expected. not a stark, rejected by his real family. takes his family back, goes to take winterfell, betrayed by his men and ruins his relationship with the starks and now he's living in hell. his only escape is to take the black if he ever gets away. otherwise, he's a dead man unless his dad and sister rescue him
 
Yeah, but his current woes are all his own doing. He wasn't ordered to attack Winterfell. Had he followed orders, he wouldn't be in this mess.
 
not really true. he was rejected at his home by his family, looked down upon. given the sea b**** to go raid a fishing village. what he did was a desperate act for acceptance and to prove himself to his family. he took an opportunity that he otherwise wouldn't have.

sure he's to blame too, but I feel for him. he did what he thought he had to do so his dad and sister and people would stop laughing at him and treating him like crap. again, it wasn't his doing to be in his position with the starks in the first place.
 
I agree with being with the Starks, and yeah it sucked the reception he got at home. But I'd wager the attack on the fishing village was a test ... one he failed obviously. His da is like meaner, nastier version of Tywin but probably expects to have his orders followed just as Tywin does.
 
sorry for these random arse questions from older seasons. but I finished rewatching everything again from the very beginning and catch a lot of details I didn't the first time around.

when khaleesi was first pregnant, the word spread to king's landing. it was varys that found out about her pregnancy because ser jorah mormont told him. I later read that he was originally a spy for varys. so does that mean that his exile was a phony? he started out as a spy to keep an eye on khaleesi, but ends up changing sides and believing in her and abandons his mission and follows her? or was he really an exile who was wanted, but agreed to be used by varys?

I was wondering if he was a spy working for varys, and therefore also king Robert, why did they want him as a spy just to spy on her? why not just tell him to kill her?

why did king Robert want her dead only after he found out she was pregnant? why not just kill her period?
 
Good questions,so the guy who is always at Kaleesi's side is named Sir Jorah?..I never got his name or how he came to be her escort...I just got around to watching the last episode in its entirety a couple hours ago and saw the woman get saved from the bear by Kingslayer...That was a huge bear and very well done if it wasn't real.
 
yes, ser jorah mormont, the old man that is in love with the khaleesi. and on my second time watching everything, I found out he is the chief commander (the old man that jon snow was a steward to) of the nightwatch's brother.
 
I heard somewhere before that he was in love with her but I haven't seen him show it.He obviously cares about her though.
 
well, he's been called out before and doesn't deny it. or at least he tries to but it's obvious he's trying to deny it

btw, i'm really really interested in seeing what becomes of Jaime lannister after the recent events of his capture and release, and his journey home as well as his promise to cat stark
