Something weird hanging out of Midas - is it an egg tube?

Better that than what i guessed by the pix. Was so crooked and turned that it really led me into the other direction.
Thats why I posted it Miguel, it really didn't look anything like her egg tube, I was shocked to be honest when I saw the eggs. One bonus is I have learnt the proper name for an egg tube

Well it looks like it was her Ovipositor (egg tube) after all because when I got home from work tonight I found this . . . .

Its a shame everyone had you worried about some rectal prolapse horror story when, in fact, your fish is in optimum health.
The eggs will not go to waste if there is no male to fertilize them, the mother will eat them in a couple days.

why a shame? opinion was asked, educated guesses were given due to the strange aspect of the ovopositor tube.
