River Rocks/Stones - seeking smooth round stones in NYC

Anyone in the tri-state area have any medium to large river rocks they'd like to unload? Just looking for a few smooth round stones of various sizes, 4-5" up to 10-11". I can offer driftwood as a trade or cash.

Often quarries or garden centers will be willing to sell you small quantities very cheaply.

There's a landscape supply in Bridgewater NJ. $.11 per pound of Delaware river rock pick your own stones.

I bought mine at a stone/mason yard as well, very cheaply. They usually sell them in large crates but will allow you to pick thru and get the ones you want, and charge $10-20 for 30 rocks or so. A stone yard is the way to go as it's also illegal to take stones from most rivers.
