this fish this endangered, however understand one thing I caught this fish in possession of a fish in my town. to be at risk of extinction many would say that I did wrong, but ....
feel better in my aquarium with all the care and treatment due or would be better off in the pot some house the fisherman sell ...? think that the fisherman would return it the water?

How close is it to extinction? Very unusual-looking fish for a Pimelodidae. Can it really grow to 2'? Thanks for bringing it up to our attention.

that is the holy grail of catfish from South America, its called the blue bimmer catfish, only a handful in private aquariums around the world. My friend had one that was 30" and I know of a guy in Japan with a pair in his 700 gallon tank.
