I just got my first ray(s), & my 2 yr old pearl ray is always looking at me like he wants to kick my ass! What's up with that? I just know he's gonna get me one day!

What I'm saying is he looks tough as hell... And the way he comes up to the glass looking at me & blowing sand trips me out. Get it?
He is captive bred & he only buried himself out of sight the first day. He's very active (I've had him 3 days) & seems to like the sand a lot. I'm enjoying him- a whole nother ball game from just fish in the tank!

I have a question about feeding. He is eating worms well & I can feed him 2X a day. How much should I be feeding a 12" ray if he only gets to eat 2X a day? Also, what should I try to get him eating in addition to the worms? He was raised on Blackworms & ghost shrimp from what I am told. And I have blackworms, but is he too big to be eating them, or it is still a good food for him?

Pearl in my experience cove them self when you do water changes
I had 3 Leo's and 2 pearls as soon as I started to do a water change gravel clean the Leo's would swim out of the way the pearls would cover them selfs
No sure if all pearls do this
