Injured Motoro

Hello, today noticed my juvenile Motoro has a bite taken out of er', read up on it, pretty sure I just add some salt to the water, wondering if there's anything else I can do, cheers!

Bite most definitely, heater's been shut off for a month. Hard to say what bit er, have a 15" clown knife, 12" florida gar, 10" rope fish, 10" black ghost knife, 8" ornate bicher, 8" glass knife, 6" bala shark... The glass knife seems to be the most aggressive of the bunch (surprisingly) but not sure it could make a mark that big.. Haven't seen a single thing in the tank so much as inquire about the motoro being food, so I'm assuming it must have startled something.. Also heard rays are pretty much tanks, and heal pretty quickly from flesh wounds like this.

I don't see how any of those fish could have left that mark. The placement of the mark is in a weird area

makes no sense to me, the florida gar and the clown knife seem the only 2 big enough to do so, but they avoid er like the plague..

Ahh, there is..but it''s a royal pleco and he sticks to eating wood, possible though

Bet that's your problem. Do NOT recommend keeping plecos with rays.

is that a frog in with all those preds

i agree with didysis . the "bite" is on top of the disc. with all those orniments i think its more likley that something traped the rays disc or it caught it on something.

anythings possible though

as far as treatment goes. i wouldnt do anything and just keep up regular tank maintenance and it should be fine
