which cryptid could exist?

You know why I know the lockness monster is BS? Cause a few piranha, a few snake head, or a few cichlids released into a certain lake can devastate that ecosystem. Now, we are talking about a huge water animal, I would bet that animal would cause more damage than any piranha, snakehead, cichlid etc, can ever do. And we are talking about only one of them, imagine a group of them? If there is a group out there it would have destroyed that ecosystem already and people would see them a lot more often. People have investigated that lake and found NOTHING. Most of these cryptids are fiction.
I don't believe in the loch ness monster at all but saying they have fully investigated the lake is bull. That thing is so deep and vast it has not been very well explored.

I saw a documentary where they spent millions lining up boats with sonar side by side and mapped out the whole thing and didnt find anything large. I guess you could argue that they didn't invesigate it fully but I mean how much investigation would it take? Do we need to drain the thing?

I think that some people are underestimating how many animals were thought to be myths that have actually been discovered. There are also many animals that were thought to be extinct (some for hundreds of years), and have been rediscovered.
The mythical Vietnamese giant turtle that was only found 15 years ago, was hiding in a 2 meter deep lake. It measured 6' long, and it's myths go back to the 15th century. 2 meters is very shallow for 1.8 meter turtle species to hide in for 500 years. I'm sure that this individual was probably larger than most, but even a 4-5' turtle should have a hard time staying hidden in 2 meters of water for centuries.
I don't think that all of these things are real, but I wouldn't call them BS. We don't know as much as we like to think we do.
