Oklahoma City is being slammed with Tornadoes as I type this...it's just barely above Moore which just got wiped out 2 weeks ago.

That's one reason that I'm glad that I live in tulsa. We live in a geographical 'dip' so most bad weather goes around us before it gets to us. My thoughts are with my friends in OKC though.

shame. good thing I've always lived in or right by mountains. One of my friends went to OK to go noodling yesterday....OOPS!
Living by mountains don't mean your safe from tornadoes. I live right by the Rocky mountains in Colorado and I've seen and heard of reports of them in the mountains.

I feel bad for those people. We had one near us just recently and no one was hurt but a couple buildings were destroyed.
No not totally safe but pretty much. Weld County had one a couple years ago but they're very few and far between. That's the closest one has ever gotten to me.
