I thought you said it was in a 75. Looks very wide to me, but could be your camera like you said.
nice fish nonetheless.

Thanks & no worries, just misread my post. I tried to get another silver aro & was raising it in my 75gal quarantine\ grow out tank till I came home one day to find it on the ground. The one I currently have is in my show tank 220gal. Happy fish keeping! :-)

Captive silver aros rarely grow bigger than 24", mine is around 22" & is not even 2 years old. I've seen people that keep two aros in a 125gal which i would consider stunting. I suppose I could remove some of the lace rock for more room & I plan on either moving the oscars or jacks, they always eat all the food before the aro gets the to eat.

Not sure where your getting this info from.

Got it from my lfs where I got my aro from. Breeder for the parents of my aro are only 22".

If they told you they bred your aro and you believed it....well I have this volcano insurance you just might be interested in...my uncle told me your area is due for an eruption.

Hey Saban, its been a while!
I'm glad to see your silver again.
It looks fantastic!
It has gotten much bigger since the last time.
The coloration is very nice as well.
