Hi guys!

I have a newly acquired green terror (about 4"). It shares a 75 gallon tank with a calico convict and 4 giant danios.
Here are pics. What you guys think? male or female? Thank you :)

Thanks guys!

But I do have a problem though. I tried feeding him some pellets. But he just stares at them most of the time..
The few times he tried to strike at pellets he always missed. I've seen him eat around only 5 pellets (out of about 30 i put near him, one at a time).

My convict is ending up getting overfed. Is this a normal GT eating habit?

Could be a hermaphrodite...

100 % male good luck, I had a breeding pair for about a year, the female was absolutely insane, killed my large Texas cichlid after she laid eggs. also beat the hell out of my jack dempsey almost killed him, i would not recomend sharing a tank with a mated pair like that. the female is way to agressive at that stage. Good luck with that Male.

Can a GT pair be housed in a 75 gallon tank filtered by 2x eheim 2217 with 5 tiger barbs and a convict?

Definitely and 100% a male......not a hermaphrodite at all.....nice streamers he shows off...dont worry on the pellets , since he is a new entrant , he will catch up soon.

Check with the guy from whom you bought , what were they trained to eat.
