I doubt that saber tooth cat would kill much people...they are unable to develop a strong bite and were mostly scavangers. Their teeth were mostly for display.

It's true. Wooly mammoth tusks were mainly for display too. Just look at today's elephants. They can't hurt nobod,.................... nevermind

Yes I've heard this too. That's part of their extinction they just couldn't adapt a good enough killing technique

The article on this subject was in the April 2013 issue of National Geographic... An imaginary illustration showing the Siberian Tundra transformed back into grassland by hebivores that are already been introduced there in with reintroduced mammoths coexisting there..Pleistocene park.... It would take a long time for mammoth to come about regardless... Because If they succeeded in getting viable material they say no one has yet accomplished harvesting the needed eggs from an elephant to transfer the material into.. if that and transplanting the embryo back into the elephant womb is successful ...it would be an almost two-year wait for the birth....
