Black one ! I want a black one Steve send it me lol :D my other lfs just got baby jar in 3/4" £125 , I must say it does look cute and like my new project but not at that price :D , keep some jags get a pair and if they don't breed do a swap with your mate till get a breeding pair , if that's poss ?
 
if you get a platinum tell me pls

That does seem pricey for a small jar, but at the end of the day he got flown from halfway round the world. My mate is the cichlid breeder. Even if I did keep a pair to get them to breed, he's got better resources for it so I'll just leave it to him. I may keep the big 1 in my batch if he grows fast enough to not get eaten by my jar or rays. That being said he has some serious growing to do. Jag is 6ish cm, jar is 25ish cm and my rays r around 25cm diameter so yeh

yep i think its a good way to um well get some fish offf you hands steve haha ad no the jar is eating crikets pellets prawns and dead fish from the market
 
lol have patience fellas... season doesn't start until early November (best case scenario) and most hatcheries/farms don't sell until after the New Year. Last season I got lucky and found a place that had a few people working throughout Christmas break so I got them fairly early
 
hahaha plus I've never enquired about shipping overseas... got a couple of speed-racers here today lol
 
if i can maybe just maybe in the future i will try a jardini comunity with like 10 of them

he actually loved roaches when I had him. It was funny to watch him down a big one
