I paid $20 @ 5cm. He's now 13-15cm - that's almost full size. There is another species: Butis microps that grow a fair bit bigger.

I've had dozens of platinums... but personally I've only ever seen 1 in jet black. Lost my mind when I saw it. Asked the owner how much he wanted for it... almost cried lol
