Do you have any juvies ready to be sent out? I really hope they are caspers they have 4 distinct white bars one the white base. Not sure if that's what caspers look like at .25"

No I don't at the moment. I would of had more spawns from them by now but I tried switching the male to a heavier marbled male. This current spawn from the original pair is all I have right now. I believe my daughter put something within the last batches water to cause them to die. He was 1 of about 5 survivors. Honestly I don't remember what it first started to looked like but I know it was white instead of pink. I will share updates when I notice different colors.

By the end of the month I will have no baby left they are dropping left and right. I found atleast 10 or more dead babies this morning. I checked all the tank parameters everything is spot on. I did a 15% water change last night and every two days. I'm stumped to be honest. Could it be that my pairs fry aren't viable?

Doubtful that your pair produce weak fry. I would start doing daily water changes, maybe look at your water source and run fresh carbon. How often do you feed and what do you feed the young?

I've never had a problem with my water before so I doubt it's the water. I actually tried to slow down on daily changes cause they were dying faster and in more numbers. I feed a mix of a variety of crushed cichlid flakes and nls. My auto feeder is set to small amounts every two hours four times a day.

Odd, you mention you main pair was poisoned by dry wall dust? This could be a factor but to be honest if your getting good parameter readings anything is speculation . I would just run fresh carbon and hope for the best. Good luck with your remaining young

Yeah they were but they were dead by the next morning and I dismantled the tank completely washed everything before putting the fry in that tank

Man that sucks you keep losing fry. I am like you... I never have lost a batch of fry by losing groups daily. As far as the first batch from them I assumed it was something my daughter put in thhe water but I don't know. I will pay more attention to this batch and keep the fry with the parents for a while.

It really does suck and I wish I knew what was the problem before I thought it was they weren't getting enough food but then I would watch em eat and scavenge for food but now idk what it is.

I have some questions about my albino con pair, so I figured this would be the best place to ask.

1. How hard would it be to get white cons with white stripes?
2. Is there such thing as an albino con with red eyes?
