NTT won't eat

It was not 2 days. It went on for about 6 days without eating. It started eating brine shrimps on day 7. He ate barely enough to survive. On day 10 he started eating more.

I just picked up another 4.5" NTT and now I have start the training process all over again.
 
Bump. It's been 8 days and the 4.5" NTT is showing no sign of interest in food. He's still pretty meaty so it might be another week before he budge. Should I give and give him feeders?

No, keep going. You're already at 8 days now. Wait until 14 and then offer shrimp if it still doesn't take pellets

Agreed,eight days is no time when it comes breaking and training a dat.
 
I went 5 weeks. I caved in before he did. Don't worry.
 
My 2" NTT wouldn't eat anything but live guppies until I put 4 Indos with him.. The Indos ate shrimp and lance fish. Now the NTT eats shrimp and lance fish pieces

I have a little guy that's been holding out for close to a month now.Yesterday he just started taking in and spitting out bits of cut up shrimp and fish fillet.

Thats good news. Hopefully he swallow the food next time. They usually at this point of feeding training.
 
Yeah, I don't think it will be too much longer before he's fully weaned.
