Some updated pics of the 125 gallon CA/SA tank

Got rid of some wood, and added some fake plants from Michaels. The current stock is: 5-6" Widebar SD (3x), 4.5" firemouths (2x), 3.5-4" green texas, 3.5-4" Nicaraguan dovi, 2.5" mag-x umbee, a 5" possible vieja syn, 5" polleni, 6" Raphael cat, 6" irwini cat, misc cory cats (6x), 7" featherfin cat, and three Chinese algae eaters. I forgot the 7" flagtail.

Can anybody sex and I.D. the vieja in pics 5 & 6? I think its a syn.

Yep that's a dovi. All my fry are hitting the 3-4" mark now. It does look like a syn. Any idea on the sex?

Like I posted in your other thread - Viejas need to be vented in order to accurately sex them. Great stock btw. I love the wide bars & the polleni! Good looking color on that syn too.

Man, I wish my dovii would allow for the stock you have in there - very nice looking. Mine shreds anything the instant it gets put into the tank, so I've stopped trying.

I keep a close eye on him. I haven't witnessed any aggression yet. The Dovii and the Polleni have the biggest appetite. The syn seems to be the boss of the tank right now. I'm hoping to get through the summer before the Dovii starts killing. By then I'll have his 240 ready.
