Update pics of my 30" AUL

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Egon your lungfish is almost as big as the one in the Baltimore aquarium, who sucks down heads if cabbage. Biggest one I've seen in a private aquarium. Great job with him it looks great

Thanks. My guy loves Brussels Sprouts :)

Awesome setup, looking into getting a lungfish and a fire eel myself in the next few months, have a 75 gal at the moment with a 12" florida gar, 14" clown knife, 6" wide stingray, buncha others a tad smaller.. Any suggestions on what species of lungfish to aim for that would suit that tank? Also any precautions on what species might try to eat everything they can? Cheers!

Get a bigger tank first

lol well that's obvious and a plan in the making, anything else?

Not always obvious to some. For example the AUL is the most primitive lung and mostly breaths water instead of air so they are perfect for aquariums. Plus, they are very gentle. They are also rediculsy expensive, but for you that's my #1 sugestion.
Knowing you only have a 75 gallon tank leeds me to believe they are out of your league. Sorry.
Of course your going to get a bigger tank, we all are.
When you do then get thn AUL.
