Don't know much about them but if you don't mind, who has them for sale?

Headstanders. Sort of like a mini payara. I'm not too familiar with this exact species, but some have impressive dentition.

Probably the ones Rapps brought in......

I thought they looked an awful lot like Cynopotomus sp.

I'd have some swimming in my tank right now but never got any emails back from Jeff, so gave up.

Did you try calling him? I've always had great luck getting a hold of Jeff over the phone.

Nope. Never had trouble with emails, he had always responded promptly in the past....

It's OK though, Wes took every last bit of spending money I had. Twice. Now someone needs to buy that Brassy up for grabs before I scrap the car in my driveway that needs an engine in a desperate attempt to score another one. :( I love/hate this hobby..... lol

Haha I feel your pain. I'm almost tempted to put Max on the market to try to get that brasiliensis, but I think Miguel would kill me...

Bump it up.

I feel as if I have seen similar looking fish in petstores...and I am definitely familar with the genus name.

Weird, trying to contact some local petstore people.

Im interested in possibly getting some of these to use as dithers with pbass.

Anyone else keep them?
