For S&G, here's some dead wallacei for you guys:

Note the unusually large eye, the odd dentition for a Hydrolycus species, the black fins, the scomb like fin shapes, the gold color on the cheeks, and most intriguingly, the very large scales.

they look very similar to scombs. Not my taste IMO.

payaras do love live feeders. feed it till it's fat then starve it for a week. That's how I got mine off live. In fact, i starved for more than 2 weeks.

I starved my armatus for two weeks. Around 5" is a good size to start starving. I wouldnt exceed 2 weeks at that size though.
