Looking to buy a higher end shimano reel and pair it with a nice 7' rod. Ill have to see what I can find. Im not sure about you guys but I love the shimano sahara even though its cheap its really nice. Im thinking about picking one up maybe this weekend

Ya im thinking one of those skeet reese rods for my baitcaster reel and maybe grabbing a reel for my vendetta if I do get a skeet reese rod. And then picking up a sahara or chronarch and probably an abu garcia as that is what I favor and they are amazing in every aspect
I have the Cranach e6 series with the Shimano Clarus 7 foot 1 inch medium heavy worm in jigg you can use it for anything it's a great setup but very expensive

I believe it was around 4somthin for the set up..but a decent shimano rod for cheep $$ would be the sellus its around 50 bucks and I have 2 on my other bait caster and my spinning setup as well

Went to the palisades mall today and I ran in the dicks sporting goods to see what they have and i definetly saw some awesome reels! Way larger selection than any dicks sporting goods ive seen. I definetly was thinking of getting a couple reels but I didnt want to spend a lot of money. So I will probably get a new reel or rod after I get a boat or maybe if I see one I like. But im going to wooddale county park tommorow to see if I can catch any fish on the skeet reese rod
