My fiancé and I are currently planning our wedding and I can say with certainty we dont expect any sort of gift period. These brides were out of line

I was happy people showed to my wedding. Just talk about everyone behind their back like any normal human being.

My wedding was for me, paid for by me and my wife and I didn't ask/ expect anything in return. One of my favorite gift probably cost my friend 5-10 bucks to make and I still have it on display 6 years later.

I had one person complain about the wedding. I told them flat out you didn't get married or pay for it so I don't care what you think. Petty BS is all it is.

First of all... horrible gifts imo lol

I'm Asian and we usually gift money. This is to cover for our dinner and/or help pay for their wedding. Some may say it's unthoughtful but believe me it's the most logical gifts to give considering cost of weddings these days :p

How rude you get married because you love someone and want to share a special day with everyone not to get gifts. Gifts are a bonus and in my eyes they are lucky they had friends to turn up if this is how they act in life.
