Thet are f1 babys. But I have sone runts and some pecock deforestations. And sone normal. I dont know if thats because they are from wild parents. Of if they were inbread. Either way I hipe to get one or two pairs from them and sell or give away the rest. Just so they dont all fight and die after a pair is made.

I wish I knew how to tell the sex difference. Until they pair up. I have no clue right now. They were born in December 1st. Or near that time. Here is another video just showing my tank setupbwith them. I really want a breeding pair. So I tend to over do things on making things right for them.

That sounds a bit inbred to me. But who really knows. As for sexing these guys are still too small they need to grow 2-3" before they start showing adult colors

Oh wow I thought they were eating a convict at first lol, nice group tho. Here's a couple of my 3-4'' F1 Ecuadorian juvies from AJ. Its kinda hard to tell but the female is flaring her gills and slapping the male with her tail in the last few pics so I'm hoping these two will pair up :)

Very nice, they should be all pairing up soon, the fry are 7 months old now! Looking great!

Thanks man :) This female is a beast, she's coloring up a lot faster than the rest so I can't wait to see how she turns out. What age/size do they typically start spawning at? She's acting ready but the male doesn't know what to do with her so I'm thinking at least a few more months til he's mature enough
