Thanks! There actually are no widebars in there. There are 4 redhooks and 3 thinbars in my 360 and 5 widebars and 1 thinbar in my 270. They are awesome dithers, my azuls chase them all day.
My bad, i couldnt see them very well.

Very nice chizzle love the occel

That's a fantastic tank, I think barebottom really is the way forward for big tanks. It's nice to have sand but if you can't maintain it then it becomes a eye saw, particularly when it sticks to catfish and rays.

Even thought about a tiled bottom?

What light unit are you using? the ligting seems fantastic for IMO a very cheap price

Thank you sir. Maintaining the sand was not the problem. It was the spray bars blowing it everywhere, the 1st 1/3 of the tank would be bare and I would have these ugly mounds of sand torwards the back of the tank. I have thought about tile for a while, but decided against it. I like the tank the way it is right now. Lights are Beamswork Hi-Lumen 120s, I bought both fixtures off ebay for $140 with free shipping.

Sorry boss, must have missed your post earlier. I am running a 125 gallon sump(60x24x20) with 2 laguna2400s and also an fx5 with a turbotwist 12x UV. The sump also has 3 pothos plants in it and around 120lbs of ceramic rings.

Np bro, another way to distinguish widebar vs thinbar is the color of the "hook" (blue=wide, red=thin)

Thanks man, that ocell is a beast. Just brought her home on saturday morning.

Awesome tank!!! I hope my rio yucao turns out like yours! I posted a pic of my guy in the rio ventuari topic.

Thanks, bassguy did a great job with them. I hope these two turn out like his big rio yucao.

Have you calculated what those lagunas are pushing at whatever head pressure the returns are at?

Have any light on the pothos? Im considering using it on my shared sump for a 155 and 300g tanks...but I also live in a basement.

Not trying to thread jack - this all goes back to your beautiful tank being an inspiration.

Yessir. There is roughly 4.5ft of head and the pumps push over 1800gph each at that height, giving me over 3600gph (thus 10x turnover for a 360g tank). I have a 36" dual t5 lamp shining over the pothos on a timer and give them 8 hours of light each day. I just finished putting in the pothos a few weeks back and while i havent checked water parameters yet, i have noticed my sump is a lot cleaner. I have heard it takes a few weeks for the plants to get settled in and remove nitrates at a noticeable level, so i have still been doing weekly water changes.
If you have any more questions, dont hesitate to ask!
