They are listed as a max of 8" ... though I imagine it's possible they could get larger in an aquarium like many cichlids do.

Yeah, I seen a couple albino red top zebras yesterday that were at least 8 inches...I have a hard time getting my zebras to 5 inches.

Does the black from the midlateral blotch extend up into the dorsal fin? The video doesn't show the dorsal flared.

this is my guy, he is around 10 inches and he is a pushy bully who sulks if he doesn't get his way lol.
great fish with lots of personality.

All three species look nearly identical ... yours almost looks more like sp. Jenaro Herrera than diadema to me ... hence why I asked about the black. The cheek stripes look longer than they do on diadema.
