I have been fishing on cross lake in Shreveport from the south boat launch for a while. Lately I have not been catching hardly anything, are there any other places where I could fish from the shore. Most of the area around the lake is either private land or hard to get to. Any help would be great.

Try different baits or lures. Im not familiar with the lake but just try and move around a little bit. You should be able to catch. Best time to fish is early morning and sunset. Most fish are caught in those time frames.
The problem with the lake is there are quite a few people there sunrise is the only time to get any fishing in.
