Another i.d. yellow tail tat or armatus?

Agreed alot of people seem to be getting armatus for next to nothing...i was def. In disbelief when i saw it at my lfs...my guy usually doesnt get in anything too rare unless i specifically ask for it or tell him what im looking for. Gotta love mom and pop lfs tho, good people, and its a dying trade these days.

Agreed it would piss me off too as ive overpaid for alot of specimen in 15yrs lol...but we all gotta get lucky sooner or later.

Update on the mystery payara...just gave him 6 gambusa to snack on for a few hours. Figured id try and beef him up quick so we can all see what he turns into.

Rhaphiodon vulpinus??? Just learned this species is often sold as "barracuda" and it could very well be what i have also? His body isnt too elongated tho. Any other info of this R. Vulpinus? Ive never came across this species before on mfk.
